Goal Oriented Motivation

In Chapter 11 I enjoyed hearing about the importance of Goal oriented motivation. Anything can be an incentive to motivate us, but a goal is an incentive that person selects themselves. To me this means that the incentive and motivation to complete the task is that much stronger and the reward for completing the task that much greater. In the below video Krish Dhanam explains the importance of goal oriented motivation. I like the comment he makes, “the day you practice for the something you’re not paid to do, is the beginning of journey that will take you to the place that will pay you for what you practice”. Below is the video of Krish Dhanam, who is a great motivational speaker goes on to give some very good advice in the video below.
