How motivated are you??? Take a Quiz and Find out!

Motivation as we have learned in class is the act of goal-oriented behavior. Motivation is said to either be intrinsic or extrinsic as well. How do we really know if we are motivated to achieve what we really strive for in life? Exactly how hard to we push ourselves to get where it is we want to be?

Self-motivation is defined as the force that keeps us pushing forward to go on rather then giving up. In other terms it is our internal drive to achieve certain goals that we hope to accomplish. Self-motivation is a great fundamental tool for everyday life. It will not only allow you to reach your goals but being overall successful in life. The four factors that are necessary to build the strongest levels of self-motivation are: self-confidence and self-efficacy, positive thinking, as well as positive thinking about your future, focusing on strong goals that you have set for yourself, and lastly a motivating environment.

When one can use these four factors in life, they can conquer almost anything life throws there way. Looking at the glass half full will also help you. For example, by being self-assured, if one of your goals is not met, think “I can do this, one slip wont stop me!” Whereas the not so self-assure person will be down on themselves and say things like “ I never I was in over my head”. A possitive outlook is said to be the key to motivating. Confidence that you can do anything also makes it easier for you to find ways to motivate yourself.

There are many tips, ticks, and tools to better your self-motivation. Follow the website below to review to test your own motivation:
