Self control is something that we don't think about all the time or even notice in our everyday lives but it plays a role in a lot of the things that we do. Self control can have an effect on things such as your health, careers or relationships. For example, if an individual is trying to lose weight and get in better shape they have to have self discipline. If a couple days in a row the individual doesn't want to go to the gym or workout because they are tired, but they make themselves do it anyway, that is positive self control. That is good because even though they don't want to, they are controlling themselves to go anyway because they know the benefits that can come with it. If an individual has complete self control it can be extremely beneficial for their lives.
