Should you wait or not?

When should you do the work you have to?

Ever wonder how you should get started on a project? Should you wait out the depths of darkness, or should "I just begin even though I am not inspired?" It's a tough question, but one you must answer.

We are imperfect creatures. We never really know what it is we want and we are always on the fence. We make rash decisions only to regret afterwards.

I know I struggle with this a lot. I am always confused how I should begin something. Should I wait out the slump or simply begin my work regardless of how I feel .

What do you think? Should you wait or should you just dive in?

As for me, I know my answer. I like to wait until my inspiration comes back. But, you should always do what you feel comfortable doing and if what you want is to just be resilient and budge through, then that is amazing. I am always inspired and always in awe of people who can do that.

  1. I always have trouble starting an assignment. It may take me a few days to finally put any effort into but once I get started it's hard for me to stop. I usually try and lock myself away while doing assignments because I know if someone interrupts me, I'll never be able to get that momunitum again.

  2. Thank you Sean and I certainly know what you are saying. Even the slightest challenges and the smallest effort based works are indeed stress worthy and it makes me want to not begin. Once you do though, everything becomes a breeze!
