Performance

Motivation sequence explains, the choice which is to select among motives to satisfy and instrumental behavior shows strength of motivation. Instrumental behavior comes into play with people who are involved in sports, depending on how much motivation the person has in that sport shows in terms of, duration, frequency and intensity. In high school I was a cheerleader and we had frequency occur from how many practices we had and how frequent we learned the routines. The intensity was another term of motivation showing how much we put into the routines we practiced over time. With this motivation sequence each person has their own inverted U-curve, and that U-curve is different within everyone, and the curve shows how much determination they have when doing something, like a sport or a hobby they are doing.
