I built up my career as a freelance makeup artist the day I lost my full time job by creating a facebook account for my business.https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Make-up-Artist-Kacey-Rosenberger/124825074212789<br /> Doing this was the best thing I could have done because through social networking I have managed to support myself as I continue through school. Unfortunately my bf has had some of the same luck you have encountered... working in contruction we have dealt with great disappointment and I wrote about this because I am constantly dealing with this issue. When life handed you lemons, you were able to make lemonade.. best of luck to you!KaceyRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00675203508498044226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432832965657953047.post-12547640933611412802012-06-05T19:12:01.882-07:002012-06-05T19:12:01.882-07:00I can relate to this post so much. Unfortunately I was laid off because the position was no longer needed. At first, I was not really stressing it because I had some money saved and I thought to myself “I have skills and I’ll get another job”. But, this was not the case. I almost lost my house, I lost my car, and my bills were so high… This experience was so stressful for me and my children. As a single parent, I had no choice but to sign up for welfare although I swore I would never do that. I was always saying how people on welfare were lazy but boy was I wrong. Anyways, throughout this experience, I enrolled in school for social work to help others struggling like I did and I was able to find a job…Johannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17809407406907579070noreply@blogger.com
